Information Checklist
 
Below is a summary of the information we would need to make your site building experience the best we can. This is by no means is an all inclusive list. To a large extend the information depends on your needs. Some clients will need to provide more, while some very simple sites will require less.
Securing this information early in the process will help decide if we need to contract with additional developers to complete your site.
We strive to keep our prices low. Contracting some work out helps us do just that.
This information will help us provide your initial quote. We will follow up with a voice or face-to-face interview.
 
Whether this is your first or your fifth site, we suggest that you look at a sites on the Web that do what you do, so you may glean ideas toward how you would like your site to look and function. We want your page to be "uniquely you". To that end we treat each client and their site as custom. At this time we do not market templates, however might we suggest that you also visit our Portfolio for ideas

What is your site's Job? - Are you planning to use it a solely as marketing tool? This would include a site to sell products or services. Something like an "electronic" or might we say "Internet business card". Examples would be a site for a plumber, electrician, tanning salon, real estate, dentist, doctor or attorney. Will it be informational, educational in nature? Some examples might be; a how-to site, a membership organization or club that wants to keep it's members informed of the organizations events or activities. Many sites are a combination. Basically just give us a brief description of what you do, and what you want the site to accomplish.

     
2. Do you already have a Domain name? We would need registratar information. If you do not have a domain name we can help you obtain one. Please remember that specific name are subject to availability.  
     
3. Graphics and Images - Will your site be a image intensive site or will you just need a few images to "beautify and enhance". Will you be able to provide digital images or photos to be scanned? Do you have a Logo, or do you need a logo designed? (We can do that as well.) Do you have or want Animates Images? Do you need us to acquire images for you?
     
4. Sound and "Movies" - We can include Sounds on a page. Web compatable Movies can be made available to your Customers and/or clients. See some samples.
     
5. Text - Where would we be without words? What you want to say can be submitted as plain text, Word document, simple html page, etc. Tell us what you have and we can tell you how to get it to us.
     
6. Email - The webspace we provides includes the availability of numerous email addresses. Addresses for such emails as; info@, sales@, yourname@ & youremployees@your.com. Let us know how many and what type you think you might need. We can also provide if needed a submission page. Click here to see an example.
 
  Additional Information
Some examples of client supplied content:
  Specific text - sales pitches, tag lines, mottos, biographies, email addresses, phone and fax numbers.
  Images (images containing individuals may require a release) ClipArt
  Logos, copyrighted information (i.e. corporate logos, organization logos) require permission, or clear information as to usage on corporate, organization site.
  Any other client supplied content can be discussed during client "interview"
     
Some examples of developer supplied content:
  General text - Some client ask that the developer create their idea of what works. Based on the interview this is a possibility.
  Images / ClipArt - If stock images are available that suit the clients needs there is no extra charge to use these images. Please be aware that such images may appear on other projects. If an image search is required additional charges may occur, each case may be different and can be discussed during the interview.
  Logos - If you do not have a logo and want one created, or would like your current logo modified, this can be accomplished. Simply speak with the developer. This will be invoiced separately, sales taxes may apply.
  In the course of creating a quality webpage or website, some text will be rendered as images. Normally 99 & 99/100th percent of the time these images are considered part of the development. You will of course be notified if this changes in your case, for any reason.
